General Comments

Planning for the future is an essential part of every divorce settlement. The divorce will soon be your past but the decisions made during the process will have a significant impact on the future of you and your family. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® and Certified Financial Planner®, I am able to help create a picture of the potential short and long-term consequences of possible settlements BEFORE you make a commitment that could be difficult or impossible to change. I have extensive experience working on collaborative and mediated cases since 2000. I continue to participate in collaborative groups around the Bay Area and speak about the collaborative process and the role of the financial professional. It has been my experience that financial issues are often cloaked in fear and uncertainty. My personal desire is to take away this fear and replace it with positive and productive action by providing information and perspective that is often hard to see while trying to cope with the difficult and emotional issues in a divorce.
